Wildlife Garden – Swedish Design for Garden & Home
Wildlife Garden was born from a very personal observation: during a long break, founder Helena Nobel was repeatedly struck by the unsightly birdhouses she saw on her walks. Her husband is an amateur ornithologist, so she asked him whether bird-friendly houses could be designed more beautifully – and the idea for Wildlife Garden was born. In 2005, she founded the company with a small team in a former screw factory in her hometown of Båstad.
The first product was the combined Multiholk feeder/nesting box, which is still available today in improved versions such as the Swedish Cottage, Villa, Bauhaus, and other variants. Since then, Wildlife Garden has grown steadily: The company specializes in shelters for garden visitors such as birds, butterflies, and hedgehogs, and places the utmost importance on sustainability during production, using materials and colors that have as little impact on the environment as possible.
At Nordlichttraum.de, you will find a wide selection from the Wildlife Garden collection: Decobirds, Decoanimals, kitchen roll holders, and bird feeders such as the Feed Barn and the Multiholk – with the special Swedish Cottage and the Decohooks as real highlights.
Decobirds – detailed bird figures for indoors & outdoors
The Decobirds are one of the brand's most successful products. They were a huge success in the Wildlife Garden story and impress with their lovingly hand-carved attention to detail – from native songbirds to exotic species, they are a real eye-catcher on a shelf, windowsill, or living room table.
Decoanimals – bringing wild nature into your own home
With the Decoanimals, you bring Scandinavia's wildlife into your home. The paper-cut-style silhouettes made of black lacquered iron bring elegance and a connection to nature into every room – whether indoors or outdoors.
Kitchen roll holders – design meets function
Wildlife Garden also focuses on charming design in everyday kitchen life: The kitchen roll holders combine practical utility with the brand's typical, nature-inspired design language.
Feed Barn – the miniature barn for garden birds
The Feed Barn is a miniature of a typical Swedish barn in Falun red and natural wood, offering plenty of space for various types of food – a decorative highlight for any garden that also benefits native birds.
Multiholk – nesting box and feeder in one
The Multiholk serves as a nesting box for garden birds in spring and summer and as a bird feeder in winter – a clever two-in-one concept that can be used year-round. In 2011, the system was perfected so that the houses can be hung from a tree or placed on a post.
Swedish Cottage – the special highlight
A very special variant of the Multiholk is the Swedish Cottage: particularly beautiful in the typical Swedish cottage red, it combines charming Scandinavian design with real utility for native birds – a true piece of Swedish garden culture.
Decohooks – decorative hooks with character
The Decohooks round off the range: lovingly designed wall hooks with nature-inspired motifs that combine practical storage with decorative design.
