Blåtand preserves from Sweden

A spoonful of cloudberry jam on your breakfast bread, and Northern Sweden is close at hand. Blåtand has been producing gourmet preserves in Stöde, Sweden, since 1986, using berries from the Swedish wilderness. Here you will find the classics of Swedish berry cuisine: cloudberry, blueberry, and lingonberry.

Cloudberry jam: the golden highlight

Cloudberries (Swedish: hjortron) grow on damp moors in the north and are considered an exclusive ingredient. The berries for Blåtand Hjortronsylt are picked individually and cleaned. The jam is made according to a traditional Swedish recipe and contains 70 g of cloudberries per 100 g. The ingredients list is short: cloudberries, sugar, and fruit pectin. The taste is intensely fruity with a subtle tartness.

Blueberry jam: the taste of the Swedish wilderness

Bilberries grow throughout Sweden. Blåtand blueberry jam contains 70% fruit and is made according to a special recipe with full berry flavor. It goes well with pancakes, Swedish porridge (gröt), and fine pastries.

Lingonberry jam: the Swedish classic

Lingonberries (lingon) come from Swedish forests and are harvested by hand in autumn. Blåtand lingonberry jam contains 65% berries and is one of the traditional staple ingredients of Swedish cuisine. It elevates everyday dishes and pairs equally well with savory and sweet foods.

Ideas for fika, breakfast, and gifts

Cloudberry jam goes well with fresh bread and butter, waffles and pancakes, quark, yogurt, and ice cream. As a treat for fika friends or as a gift from the north, a jar of Blåtand always makes an impression.
