In Sweden, every farm is home to a Tomte. The little house spirit with the long beard and pointed hat watches over the house, the animals, and the family – as long as they are treated well. On Christmas Eve, a bowl of porridge is traditionally placed outside for them. If you forget, they can become quite moody.

Tomte with tall hat from Nääsgränsgården

The Tomte from Nääsgränsgården are recognizable by their distinctive tall hats. They come in many sizes – from small figurines for the windowsill to a large 75 cm Tomte that can take its place by the front door or under the Christmas tree.

Tomte families and sets

A Tomte rarely comes alone. In our sets, you will find entire Tomte families, Tomte and mother figures, or small groups in various sizes. Arranged together, they create a little scene that can grow a bit more each year.

Gnomes with character

In addition to the classic Tomte, there are gnomes on an apple, on a gift, with mushrooms, or on a pumpkin – along with little moose as "best friends." This allows you to set up the figures as early as autumn, depending on the season.

Tip

Arrange your Tomte in groups of different sizes, ideally with a candle or lantern nearby. And don't forget the porridge on Christmas Eve.
