The squirrel is actually a perfect fit for a small storage box – after all, gathering and hiding supplies is one of the behaviors we associate with this animal.

Cherry wood with natural grain

This is what I particularly like about this series. The animal motif was not simply placed onto an existing box, but is part of the design and use of the product.

For the little things you want to keep safe

My assessment

To me, the squirrel is one of those motifs where the animal and the function fit together beautifully. A squirrel gathers and hides its supplies – and here it sits on a small box where we store our own little things.
