My assessment

For me, the oystercatcher is one of the DecoBirds for which Wildlife Garden’s concept works particularly well. Nature already provides an exceptionally clear design here: black and white, plus red legs and that long, strong beak.

At 25.8 cm long and 222 g, it is also not a small bird that disappears somewhere between other objects. It has significantly more presence than, for example, a tit or a wren.

And for a Nordic-oriented shop, I naturally also like the connection to the coast. Anyone who knows the North Sea, Baltic Sea, and mudflat landscapes does not actually need a name tag for the oystercatcher – you recognize it immediately.
