Hug – a Moomin motif full of affection
A hug actually needs no explanation. It can express friendship, love, closeness, or simply the wonderful feeling of being connected to another person. This simple and universal message is exactly what is behind the Muurla "Hug" motif.
The design makes this small enamel mug a particularly personal Moomin cup. The motif is therefore not only suitable for your own breakfast table, but also makes a lovely gift for someone you want to bring a little joy to.
0.25 liters – small and practical
With 0.25 liters, the mug is deliberately compact. It is just as suitable for a small coffee or tea as it is for cocoa, milk, and other hot or cold drinks.
Weighing only about 130 grams, it is pleasantly light and can be taken anywhere with ease. This makes it a great companion for camping, picnics, the garden, or other outdoor activities.
Enamel – light and robust
The mug consists of a carbon steel core with a double enamel coating. Muurla thus combines low weight with a robust design that proves its worth in everyday life and on the go.
The mug is dishwasher safe and therefore easy to clean.
Important: Enamel tableware is not microwave safe.
My assessment
Of the small 0.25 l Muurla mugs, "Hug" is, for me, a motif with a particularly lovely gift idea behind it. It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic – a hug can just as easily express friendship, gratitude, or simply closeness.
The small size is a perfect fit: a lightweight, uncomplicated enamel mug that you can use every day
