Little My – Muurla Retro with plenty of color
Little My is one of the best-known characters from the world of the Moomins. On this Muurla enamel mug, she is featured in the typical retro style of the Muurla Moomin collection.
Pink, red, orange and black combine to create a bold, colorful design. The clean lines and graphic style give the mug a distinctly beautiful retro character.
The Muurla Moomin Retro Series
The retro series is Muurla's first and most traditional Moomin enamel series. It focuses on well-known characters from the Moomin stories and interprets them in a colorful, clear design.
Little My fits this style particularly well. Her headstrong and confident personality works excellently with the mug's bold colors.
0.37 liters – the classic size
With 0.37 liters, the mug offers a comfortable size for coffee, tea or hot chocolate. It is large enough for a proper drink while remaining easy to handle.
Thanks to its low weight of only around 160 grams, it is also very well suited for use on the go. When camping, picnicking or in the garden, it is much easier to take along than a comparable ceramic mug.
Enamel – light and robust
The mug consists of a carbon steel core, which is finished with a double enamel coating. This creates a lightweight and robust drinking vessel that is suitable for both daily use and travel.
Muurla enamel mugs are suitable for hot and cold drinks and can be put in the dishwasher after use.
Important: Enamel tableware is not microwave safe.
My assessment
For me, the Little My mug is a beautiful example of why the Muurla Retro series works so well. It is significantly more colorful than some of the quieter Moomin motifs, but does not appear overwhelming due to the clear design.
