Moomin Heart – a small declaration of love
The heart motif is one of the most emotional Moomin designs by Muurla. The combination of pink, red and white and the nostalgic Moomin illustration gives the LED candle a warm and affectionate character.
This makes it a great addition not only to your own Moomin collection, but also a lovely gift idea for someone you want to show you're thinking of in a simple way.
Warm light highlights the motif
Muurla has designed its LED candles so that the light and the printed illustration work together. The warm light shows off the Moomin motif beautifully and creates a cozy atmosphere.
The candle has an outer shell made of paraffin wax and is designed to visually resemble a classic candle with a lifelike flame – but without an open flame.
With practical 6-hour timer function
I find the integrated timer function particularly practical. When the timer is activated, the candle lights up for six hours. This means it doesn't have to be switched off by hand every evening.
Two AA batteries are required for operation. The batteries are not included.
Cozy light without an open flame
An LED candle is particularly practical where you want the atmosphere of a candle but do not want to use an open flame. It can be easily integrated into home decor on a shelf, chest of drawers, or windowsill.
The Muurla LED candle is intended for indoor use only.
My assessment
What I particularly like about this Muurla candle is the interplay between motif and light. The Moomin heart is an emotional motif anyway – the warm light gives it an entirely different effect than, for example, on a mug or a tray.
