Talk It All Out – Love, jealousy, and grand gestures
Oh, the drama! Even in Moominvalley, love causes confusion and chaos. Moomintroll has a crush on a glamorous visitor – and Snorkmaiden gets jealous.
To make amends, Moomintroll theatrically throws himself to the ground with roses. A grand, dramatic gesture intended to impress Snorkmaiden.
A mini-comic scene around the mug
On one side, Moomintroll sits on a rock in the sea, with the question “Do we really have to ‘talk it all out’?” above him. On the other side, beneath the crescent moon on the beach, follows the grand gesture with the roses.
Light blue, a deep sea blue, and coral give the mug a calm, almost romantic mood – in beautiful contrast to the drama of the story.
0.4 l – the large Moomin mug
The Rebel Club mugs have a capacity of 0.4 l, making them larger than the classic 0.3 l Moomin mug. Enough coffee or tea for a long conversation – or to avoid one.
The mug is made of vitro porcelain. It is dishwasher safe and microwaveable. On the bottom, there is a special stamp with the Rebel Club and Moomin Arabia logo.
Rebel Club – the new comic collection from Moomin Arabia
Rebel Club is a new collection from Moomin Arabia based directly on Tove Jansson's early Moomin comics. The illustrations are bold and playful, with humor and drama drawn from the original comic strips.
At its heart are four 0.4 l mugs: Rebel Club, Boss Lady, Party Queue, and Talk It All Out. Each mug is named after a story; in total, there are five comic strips across the four motifs. According to Moomin Arabia, the collection is set to be expanded with more products next year.
Care instructions
The mug is dishwasher safe, as well as microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
My assessment
“Do we really have to talk it all out?” – this is a question everyone has probably asked themselves at some point. That is exactly why Talk It All Out is the mug in the series that most people will relate to.
Visually, it is the calmest of the four Rebel Club mugs. The blue with the coral-colored roses feels almost like a summer night by the sea.
A lovely gift for couples – with a wink. And perhaps a good reason to finally talk everything out over a cup of tea.
