Sweethearts – the many sides of love

In "Sweethearts," Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden take center stage. The illustration tells of their deep bond – and that love is not just about perfect romantic moments.

Compassion, trust, and forgiveness are just as much a part of it. The Sweethearts motif captures these various facets of their relationship.

The illustration works particularly well on a large throw: Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden do not become a small detail here, but define the entire design.

My assessment

For me, the Sweethearts throw is one of the products where Moomin by Arabia's expansion beyond classic tableware works particularly well. The motif has a completely different effect at 125 x 170 cm than on a mug or bowl.

I also find the material blend interesting. With 60% cotton and 32% wool, the throw is not a heavy classic wool blanket, but a soft, breathable plaid for the sofa and armchair.

And, of course, Sweethearts is a fantastic motif for a throw: Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden, closeness and connection – it is hard to imagine a more fitting motif for a product meant for snuggling.
