Party Queue – Hattifatteners want cocktails

The Moominhouse is already full of uninvited guests. And now the Hattifatteners are climbing through the window – demanding cocktails.

Moomintroll is on the verge of losing his temper. Little My, on the other hand, seems to thoroughly enjoy the danger posed by the electrically charged Hattifatteners. Typical Little My.

A mini-comic scene around the mug

On one side, a whole crowd of Hattifatteners pushes in, including the indignant question "No cocktails?". On the other side, Little My stands right in their midst – with visible pleasure.

Sunny yellow, light blue, and orange give the mug a cheerful, almost electrifying look – fitting for the Hattifatteners.

0.4 l – the large Moomin mug

The Rebel Club mugs have a capacity of 0.4 l, making them larger than the classic 0.3 l Moomin mug. A nice size for a large milky coffee, a cappuccino, or tea.

The mug is made of vitroporcelain. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. On the bottom, there is a special stamp with the Rebel Club and Moomin Arabia logo.

Rebel Club – the new comic collection from Moomin Arabia

Rebel Club is a new collection from Moomin Arabia based directly on Tove Jansson's early Moomin comics. The illustrations are bold and playful, with humor and drama drawn from the original comic strips.

At the heart of the collection are four 0.4 l mugs: Rebel Club, Boss Lady, Party Queue, and Talk It All Out. Each mug is named after a story; in total, five comic strips are featured across the four motifs. According to Moomin Arabia, the collection is set to be expanded with further products next year.

Care instructions

The mug is dishwasher safe and suitable for the microwave, oven, and freezer.

My assessment

For me, the Hattifatteners are the secret stars of the Moomin world – and on Party Queue, they finally get their big moment. A whole horde demanding cocktails is simply a wonderfully absurd scene.

Add to that Little My, who is happy about the chaos while Moomintroll is in despair. It captures the characters perfectly.

A mug for those who love having guests – even if they sometimes come through the window uninvited.
