Boss Lady – Snorkmaiden and office life

Snorkmaiden wants to aim high. She wants to lead a more ambitious life and takes a job as a secretary. To be honest, however, she is primarily interested in one thing: an office romance.

When she realizes that a freshly cleaned typewriter is the most romantic gesture she can expect at the office, she quits without further ado. Her hopelessly romantic nature and the daily office grind just don't go together.

A mini comic scene around the mug

On one side, Snorkmaiden sits at the typewriter, accompanied by the slogans "You must have ambitions" and "Push!". On the other side, she can be seen with Moomintroll amidst lush flowers.

The colors apricot, pink, and fresh green make Boss Lady the brightest and cheeriest mug in the Rebel Club series.

0.4 l – the large Moomin mug

The Rebel Club mugs have a capacity of 0.4 l, making them larger than the classic 0.3 l Moomin mug. Just right for a large coffee at your desk – fitting the theme.

The mug is made of vitro porcelain. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. There is a special stamp on the bottom with the Rebel Club and Moomin Arabia logo.

Rebel Club – the new comic collection from Moomin Arabia

Rebel Club is a new collection from Moomin Arabia based directly on Tove Jansson's early Moomin comics. The illustrations are bold and playful, with humor and drama drawn from the original comic strips.

The heart of the collection consists of four 0.4 l mugs: Rebel Club, Boss Lady, Party Queue, and Talk It All Out. Each mug is named after a story, with a total of five comic strips featured across the four motifs. According to Moomin Arabia, more products are planned to be added to the collection next year.

Care instructions

The mug is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.

My assessment

For me, Boss Lady is the perfect office mug. "You must have ambitions" on one side – and behind it, a Snorkmaiden who ultimately prefers to be anything but that. No other mug packs as much self-irony.

Visually, it is the brightest of the four Rebel Club mugs. If you prefer things friendly and colorful, Boss Lady is the right choice for you.

And as a gift for colleagues who have just been promoted – or have just quit – it is almost unbeatable.
